# Access tokens

> Call Riggery as yourself from another program.

**Access tokens** in the sidebar is a token that calls Riggery as you. It is not a [Secret](/account/secrets) and not the key on [AI](/instance/ai#api-key).

<h2 id="create">
  Create a token
</h2>

Open **Access tokens**. Enter a **Name**. **Expires** can be **Never**, **30 days**, **90 days**, or **365 days**.

**Create token**. The token is shown once. Copy it before you leave the page.

You can keep up to 20 tokens.

<h2 id="use">
  Call the API
</h2>

Send the token on each request:

```bash theme={null}
curl https://riggery.dev/api/workflows \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer rig_…"
```

Replace `rig_…` with the token from **Create token**.

The same calls you can make while signed in in the browser work with the token. Deleting a workflow, reading Secrets, and starting a Run are included.

To let an agent build workflows, see [Agents](/account/agent).

<h2 id="delete">
  Delete a token
</h2>

**Delete token** stops that token. Your browser session keeps working. Create a new token if you still need one; the old value cannot be shown again.
