# Usage

> What you have used from your plan limits.

**Usage** in the sidebar shows live figures from your plan. The badge is **Free plan** or **Pro plan**. On Free, **Upgrade to Pro** goes to [Billing](/account/billing).

When a limit needs attention, the page lists it as **Getting close**, **Almost full**, or **Limit reached**. When a limit is reached, new work in that category waits until the window resets or you upgrade.

Spent when an Instance uses the Riggery catalog. Your own API key does not use this pool.

The card shows **Today** and **This period** as a percent used, and when the window resets. Dollar amounts for AI usage are on the charts and events table below, and on the [Riggery catalog](/instance/ai#model) prices.

**Account limits** are shared across all your Instances: runs today and Instance count.

**Limits per Instance** each have their own cap. The page shows the Instance closest to its limit: runs today, documents processed today, Memory documents, Memory storage, file storage, and State records.

**AI cost by day** counts days in UTC. You can choose a period of 7, 30, or 90 days.

**Where cost went** lists top consumers for that period, grouped **By Instance** or **By model**.

<h2 id="events">

**AI usage events** lists the most recent calls with Date, Instance, Model, Tokens in / out, and Cost. **Load more** fetches older events.
