# Tools

> Actions the Agent or Graph can take.

A **Tool** is an action: HTTP, mail, Telegram, Memory, State, Files, Settings.

On the Graph, a Tool node runs in sequence. On an Agent card, the model may choose the Tool during a Run. Bind Instance-specific credentials on Connections, AI, or Settings — not in the prompt.
