# Start an Instance from an invite

> Open a share link, fill setup, and go live.

You start an Instance from a share link.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the invite">
    Sign in. The page shows the Workflow name, **Setup guide** (if the author published one), the invite note, the version, and **Required configuration**.

    If the author has not published yet, the page says they must publish first. You cannot start.

  <Step title="Start instance">
    **Start instance** creates your Instance and opens [Settings](/instance/settings). There is no Graph tab.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Finish setup">
    Complete **Setup** rows: AI, Secrets, Settings, Telegram or IMAP as listed. Bind [Secrets](/account/secrets) or type Instance-only values. Connect [AI](/instance/ai) and [Connections](/instance/connections) if the list asks for them.

  <Step title="Go live">
    When every setup item is done, **Go live** starts listening. Manage **Start** / **Stop** later on [Overview](/instance/overview).

  <Step title="Telegram people">
    Unlinked Telegram chats cannot start a Run. On [People](/instance/people) create a code (**Link my chat** or **Invite a person**) and send `/link` plus the code, or the code alone.
