Setting keys

Setting keys on the Graph toolbar lists the keys an Instance should fill. Save the Graph, then publish so the pinned version carries the list.

Edit

Setting keys opens the list. Add key appends a row. Save writes the list into the Graph draft (autosave).

Field	What it does
Key	Letters first, then letters, digits, `.`, `_`, `-`. Example: `company.name`.
Type	Text, Flag, or Number.
Required	On, with no Default: the operator must set a value before Go live.
Label	Name on Instance Settings. Empty uses the key.
Default	Used on Run when the Instance has no value. None means no default.

At most 64 keys. A Cron Enabled setting key, Code Settings keys, and {{settings:…}} in a field must use a key from this list. Unknown keys show as a workflow issue.

Insert value

On a Graph field, Insert value includes Setting keys. Each row inserts a token like:

{{settings:company.name}}

The part after settings: is the full key, including dots. It is not a path into a JSON object. Previous nodes still lists connected node fields. Secrets stay on the same menu when the field allows them.

After publish

Operators fill the keys on Instance Settings. Workflow keys follows this list. Required keys without a default appear in Setup until they have a value.
